Hello world!

So…this is my first blog ever.  I haven’t really decided what I will blog about simply because things always pop up and strike me as intersting.  Since I am just starting…I will just say Christmas is approaching soon and I am not done shopping yet. 

It seems strange to me…this whole buying gifts for others thing.  Christmas is not really about that at all, but we all get wrapped up in getting the right gift for each other.  Which in turn stresses us out.  Christmas is the time to remember the birth of our Lord and Savior who has done so much for us all…even for those who don’t believe in Him.  This should be a time of hope and expectation.  I for one am absolutely grateful for all that I have because of Him.  I’m also grateful for all the good and bad that has happened to me.  I know it seems strange to feel grateful for the bad things, but I know that correction is occuring.  I have found at times I need a wake up call or just need to stop doing whatever it is I am doing because those actions are not glorifying the Lord.  I do not like correction, but I know that good is coming out of it somewhere and at sometime.  This correction is a process we all have to go through as Christians up until the day we die.  So…we minus well get used to the idea and keep pluggin’ and chuggin’.
